Editorial and AI policy
How we aim to keep frequent publishing useful, transparent, and careful.
Last updated: July 15, 2026
What we publish
The FoodSnap journal explains calorie and macronutrient basics, portions, food logging, and everyday meal planning. We aim for practical content that helps readers interpret the app without presenting estimates as certainty.
How we use artificial intelligence
Our system may generate bilingual drafts and aims to fill up to three editorial slots each day. Every article states when AI assisted its creation. Passing automated checks does not mean a person or health professional reviewed it.
Checks before publication
The pipeline requires a complete structure, at least two approved sources, minimum depth, localized metadata, and no prohibited claims. It also blocks high-risk topics by default, including clinical conditions, pregnancy, eating disorders, children, supplements, weight-loss medication, and therapeutic diets.
If a slot fails, it is not published. Future articles are also excluded from the blog, RSS, and sitemap until their scheduled time.
Sources and limits
We prioritize public bodies, recognized nutrition databases, and peer-reviewed literature. Sources are linked at the end of every article. A reliable source does not turn general explanation into individual advice or make a photo estimate exact.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, broken source, or claim that needs context, email info@fluxerlabs.com with the URL and details. We will review the piece and update its date when appropriate.
